Ka haere a Hoani o Tātaraimaka ki Waitara, ka kōrero ki a Wiremu Kīngi mā, kia tukua e Te Teira tōna wāhi, kia purutia e rātou tō rātou wāhi, kia kōwaewaea marietia, kia kore ai te ngangare (TMT 15/8/1861:21). / Hoani of Tātaraimaka went to Waitara and proposed to Wiremu Kīngi and others that Te Teira be allowed to sell his piece, and let them hold their piece, to let the land be divided peaceably, so that there would not be any dispute.
