whakahara kore
1. (verb) (-tia) to be exonerated, absolved.
I oati a Tāwhiao, ko ngā hunga ka mau tonu ki ngā tikanga o te Kīngitanga, mā ngā kōrero tuku iho rātou e whakapai, e whakahara kore ā tōna wā (TTR 1994:132). / Tāwhiao promised that those who had remained faithful to the tenets of the King movement would, in time, be redeemed and exonerated by history.
