1. (verb) to line up, form a file, queue.
I kī atu a Te Whākumu, “Ko te haere, me tūtira te haere, kia kotahi rau tōpū te matua ki mua, me tāne anake; kia kotahi rau tōpū te wahine e maka ki waenganui." (JPS 1919:130). / Te Whāumu said, "When we go we should line up in file with two hundred in the main division at the front; and two hundred women placed in the middle."
