Ko ngā toenga ka marara haere noa atu ki runga ki ngā maunga, ki Wairarapa ētahi, ki Whanganui ētahi, ki ētahi kāinga atu ētahi (JPS 1945:72). / The survivors scattered about on the mountain ranges. Some went to Wairarapa, some to Whanganui, and others to various other places.
