1. (verb) to move stealthily .
Me koropuku atu ki te manu kia kore ai e kite i a tātou. / We should move stealthily towards the bird so that it doesn't see us.

2. (adjective) be convex, rounded.
He koropuku te taha whakararo o te takere o te waka, he kōpapa a roto. / The bottom side of the hull of a canoe is convex, the inside is concave.
3. (modifier) concealed, hidden, unseen.
Nō tēnei whakatupuranga kua kūparu noa iho te mau kākahu, te kai i te kai, kua noho i roto i te pōuri, i te mamae koropuku; kua amuamu ka nui te kino o te Kāwanatanga o te iwi Pākehā, he tāhae, he tango whenua (TPH 9/6/1903:5). / In this generation the clothes they wear are dirty, as is the way they eat their food. 4. (noun) swelling, lump, tumour.
