Kua tau te whakaaro o tēnei whakamenenga, kia hāhauria atu he tikanga mō ngā tāngata Māori e mate i ngā kino e ahu mai ana i ngā wai whakahaurangi (TWMNT 25/5/1875:110). / This meeting has decided that a system should be sought for Māori people afflicted by the evils arising from the use of intoxicating drinks.
