Ka whānau mai ko Tāne-nui-a-rangi, ko Paiao, ko te tūtanga tēnei e whakatika ki runga (NM 1928:175). / Rangi lived with Papatūānuku and their children were born: Tāne-kūpapa-io, Tāne-tūturi, Tāne-tūwaiora, Tāne-i-te-matatu and Tāne-tutaka and this division continued to lie down. Tāne-nui-a-rangi and Paiao were born and this group rose up.
