Me whakapeke te paraikete kia mahana ai koe (PK 2008:1117). / Double up the blanket so that you are warm.

2. (verb) (-a) to conceal, hide, secrete.

Ka tango mai i tō paraire me tō tera, ka whakapeke. Te kore, hoki rawa mai koe, kua riro tō paraire me tō tera (TWK 50:3). / You took your bridle and saddle and hid them. If you didn't, when you returned your bridle and saddle would have been taken.
