1. (noun) shares, interest (in land, etc.), connections with, related to, association with.

2. (noun) affliction, afflicted.

Ka toru ngā tau o te pānga mai o tana mate rūmātiki ki a ia (HKW 10/1898:4). / He was afflicted with rheumatism for three years.


3. (noun) function, relation.

Ko te pānga te hononga i waenga i ētahi taurangi e rua. Mā te kupu, mā te tūtohi, mā te whārite, mā te takirua raupapa, mā te kauwhata rānei e whakaatu te pānga i waenganui i ngā taurangi (TRP 2010:192). / The function/relation is the connection or relationship between two sets of variables.
