2. (noun) resolution, denouement, decision, setup.

E hia nei ngā huihuinga, i whiriwhirihia ai te kōrero mō te hohou rongo. Nō te tatūnga, ka whakamoea ētahi hei taura here (TTR 1990:245). / There were many meetings to negotiate peace. The resolution was that some marriages were made to cement the ties.
