1. (verb) to have goose pimples, have goose bumps.

Pango tonu a runga i te manomano pekapeka e hoka ana ki te rangi. Hīnawanawa ana ngā kiri i te kitenga atu (HJ 2015:55). / It was very black above with thousands of bats flying to the sky. The skin had goose pimples on seeing that.

Ka makariri tana tinana, ka tūtū te hīnawanawa o tana kiri. / His body became cold and his skin had goose-pimples.
