1. (verb) (-hia,-tia) to stick feathers in the hair, raise up high.

Paerangitia rā te pū ki Wharekohu. Kia nui ō tohu ki runga ki tō rangi (M 2005:240). / Raise up high the guns at Wharekohu. Let there be many tokens on your day.
