1. (noun) murder.

Tēnā, kitea nuitia ana ngā tohu o te ngākau kino, he ngākau kōhuru anō tō te tangata i mate nei tērā i a ia, nā, ka meinga anō hei whakamate kōhuru (NToI 1858:35). / But when indications are of malice and murderous intention on the part of the killer are manifest, it is said to be murder.
