Kātahi anō tērā ka haramai tonu, Waikanae, ka kānaenae ngā kanohi o Hau; ko Waimeha, ka mehameha a Hau (JPS 1927:281). / Finally he came on to Waikanae, so named from Hau's bewildered eyes; then Waimeha, where Hau was lonesome.
