1. (noun) belt for carrying valuables, bumbag.

Kātahi te tangata rā ka mea atu ki te wahine, “Homai taku tātua.” Ka homai e te wahine te tātua pūpara o te tangata rā (JPS 1905:70). / Then that man said to the woman, “Give me my belt.” The woman gave him his belt for carrying valuables.
