1. (noun) Thursday.

Ka mate taku pāpā i te Rāwhā. Ka tae te waea ki te puni o Papakura, kua mate taku pāpā. Nō taku hokinga mai ki te puni i te Rātahi, ao ake ko te Rārua, kātahi anō ka kōrerohia mai ki a au, me ngā whakamārama i te taenga mai o te waea i te Rāwhā (HP 1991:107). / My father died on the Thursday. The telegram arrived at Papakura camp that my father had died. When I returned to the camp on the Monday, next day on the Tuesday I was finally informed with the explanation that the telegram had arrived on the Thursday.
