E kīia ana, ka mahia te rerewei atu anō i Ākarana, ā tae noa ki Pītoitoi i te awa o Waitematā, kia ahu mai ai te tangata i Te Awaroa i Kaipara, ā Ākarana mai anō (TW 16/12/1876:464). / It is said that the railway will be built from Auckland right to Brigham's Creek on the Waitematā Harbour so that a person can travel from Te Awaroa at Kaipara to Auckland.
