Kīhai ia i ahaaha ki te whakatau ko tēhea te waiata e hāngai ana ki ngā whaikōrero o ngā hui aha noa rā (TTR 2000:120). / He was not diffident about using the appropriate waiata with speeches for different meetings.
I āhua ahaaha ahau ki te whakapuaki ake i taua kōrero (W 1971:2). / I was somewhat diffident to reveal that story.
