Ko te takirua raupapa: E rua ngā tau ki rō taiapa, hei whakaatu i tētahi pūwāhi motuhake o te kauwhata. Ko te tau tuatahi hei whakaatu i te taunga huapae (x), ko te tau tuarua hei whakaatu i te taunga poutū (y). Ko te huinga takirua raupapa tētahi o ngā momo whakaaturanga pānga (TRP 2010:249). / Ordered pair: Two numbers written in brackets to show a specific point on a graph. The first number shows the 'x' or horizontal coordinate, the second number shows the 'y' or vertical coordinate. A set of ordered pairs is one way of showing a relationship (TRP 2010:249).
