1. (noun) square metre.

Ko te rahi o te mita pūrua, he tapawhā rite, kotahi mita te roa o ia tapa. 10,000 ngā mitarau pūrua (cm2) kei roto i te mita pūrua kotahi (TRP 2010:172). / A square metre is equivalent to a square which measures one metre on each side. There are 10,000 square centimetres (cm2) in a square metre (TRP 2010:172).
