Ka tae atu a Tama ki a Whakaotirangi, ka mea atu, “Ē, haere ki te waka ki te whakatau nohoanga mōu. Ko te nohoanga kei te tuatoru o ngā taumanu i te kei, arā, i te tūngauru.” (JPS 1893:221). / Tama went to Whakaotirangi and said, “O, go on board the canoe and arrange a position for yourself, at the third seat from the stern, that is, at the platform.”
