Ko tētahi tangata o Iharaira o ia whare i tū ki waho o tōna whare, i tētahi o ngā ringa he peihana, i tētahi he kutanga hīhopa hei tou māna ki te mea i te peihana, ka tāuhi ai ki ngā pou e rua, ki te kārupe hoki o te tatau o tōna whare (THM 1/1/1888:1). / An Israelite stood outside each house, holding in one hand a basin, and in the other a bunch of hyssop, with which he sprinkled the contents of the basin upon the two side-posts and the lintel of the door of his house.
