1. (noun) yellowhead, Mohoua ochrocephala - a small rare endemic bird with a bright yellow head and underparts. Contrasting black bill, yellowish-brown eyes, legs and upperparts. Lives in family groups in the high canopy of tall native forests of the South Island.
