hūhare

Ki te kai tētahi tangata i te kai, ka tuha tētahi i tōna hūhare, i tōna hupe rānei, i tōna wharo rānei, ka mākuturia, ka mate (W 1971:490). / If a person eats the food and spits out his saliva that, or his snot, or his phlegm, will be used to place a spell on him and he will die.
