1. straight for, directly to, made a beeline for, straight there - used to indicate that something is going straight to a place.

(Te Kōhure Textbook (Ed. 2): 181;)

Kotahi atu te pōro ki te kōhao. / The ball went straight for the hole.
Rongo ana i te kōrero kotahi atu ana ki ētahi atu, kōrero atu ai tē aro atu ki te pono, ki te kore rānei i pono o tāna i rongo ai. / Once he hears something he makes a beeline for others without consideration for the veracity or not of what he heard.
