1. (verb) to shout with joy.

Ka tika tonu ngā mōrehu o Waikato kia kaitaua ki tōna whenua. Kua ngaro te reo tangata whenua: rehia ana mai: mahia ana mai; titihaoa ana mai he reo tangata kē (TTT 1/5/1928:782). / It's quite right that the survivors of Waikato should be angry about its land. The voice of the indigenous people has disappeared: the voice of strangers is heard in pleasure, work and shouting with joy.
