Te tūnga ake o tētahi o ngā toa rangatira a Heke, o Te Haratua me tana tira, ka topea taua pou kara i te 8 o Hūrae 1844 (TTR 1990:6). / Te Haratua, one of Heke’s commanders, and his army cut down the flag pole on July 8th, 1844.
