1. (verb) (-tia) to sprinkle, take a shower.
Me tango anō e koe tētahi wāhi o ngā toto i runga i te āta, o te hinu whakawahi anō hoki, ā ka tāuhiuhi atu ki a Ārona, ki ōna kākahu, ki a rātou tahi anō ko ana tama, ki ngā kākahu hoki o āna tama (PT Ekoruhe 29:21). / And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him.
2. (noun) sprinkling.
