wāhi noho
1. (noun) address, home address, living quarters, accommodation.

kāinga taupua
1. (noun) temporary abode, temporary accommodation, makeshift settlement, camping ground.
Kua tīmata i nāianei te whakaaraara haere i tētahi kāinga taupua noa nei i te wāhi taihoa ake ka whakaingoatia ko Rātana pā (TTR 1996:150). / A makeshift settlement now began to develop at the place that would eventually be called Rātana pā.
wharenui
1. (noun) meeting house, large house - main building of a marae where guests are accommodated. Traditionally the wharenui belonged to a hapū or whānau but some modern meeting houses, especially in large urban areas, have been built for non-tribal groups, including schools and tertiary institutions. Many are decorated with carvings, rafter paintings and tukutuku panels.
